Why this exists
I did not get into CAD because I wanted a collection of renderings. I had parts I needed and nobody else had modeled them. A printer enclosure needed a better electronics box. A car console needed organization that matched how I used it. A camera needed a compact case that still left room for infrared hardware. Each project started with a specific annoyance, then forced me to understand the dimensions and tradeoffs well enough to make the right object.
That pattern eventually became a useful service. People often know what is wrong, but not whether the answer is a print, a new model, a repair, a setting change, or a different manufacturing method. My role is to sort that out without pretending every problem is solved by feeding an STL into a printer.
How I work
My day job is software engineering, so I naturally treat physical projects as systems. Requirements matter. Interfaces matter. Unknowns should be called out instead of hidden. A revision should have a reason. A file should be named clearly. The person receiving the part should know what material it is, what assumptions were made, and what to do if the first fit exposes something we could not measure.
That does not mean turning a small bracket into a ceremony. It means using just enough structure to keep a real project from becoming a string of vague messages and surprises.
The machines behind the service
I have worked across bedslingers, deltas, enclosed CoreXY printers, Vorons, and modern appliance-like machines, along with the electronics, firmware, slicers, sensors, and shop infrastructure around them. That mix matters. It makes it easier to separate a model problem from a machine problem, choose a sensible production path, and design a part that is not needlessly tied to one printer.
What “good” looks like
The best result is usually boring in the right ways. The holes line up. The cable does not rub. The lid comes off without dismantling the whole machine. The outdoor part is not printed in the wrong plastic. The customer understands the estimate before work starts. The source file is available when that was part of the deal. The printer leaves the bench producing better parts than when it arrived.
That is what 3dprint4.me is built around: clear intake, honest rough pricing, direct communication, and useful work that survives contact with the real object.
Public work and contact
My published designs are available under the terms shown on their marketplace pages. Custom client work is private unless we separately agree to share it. The easiest way to begin is the project builder, but a direct email is fine when the situation is easier to explain in a conversation.
